The Gospel

Hope For the Sinner

The Bible is clear that all men and women are sinners.

Romans 3:10-11 - There is none righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands;

there is no one who seeks God.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

The Bible also teaches that all who sin deserve death and God's judgment.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 9:27 - Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

But Jesus died on the cross in our place as the only

hope to save sinners from this destiny.

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

2 Corinthians 5:21- He who knew no sin became sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

The Bible even tells us how a sinner can access this hope

and be saved from judgment and wrath.

Romans 10:9-10 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,

and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Romans 10:13 - for, "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

John 1:12 - Yet to all who received Him (Jesus), to those who believed His name,

He gave the right to become children of God.

Surrender to Jesus as Lord today! Confess that you are a sinner who needs

His forgiveness. Turn from your sin. Call unto Him for mercy as your

only hope for eternal life and salvation from His wrath!
